Bartłomiej Kamiński
Our last participant Bartłomiej Kamiński was born in the countryside in the south of Poland. After graduating from high school he moved to Wroclaw and studied Biotechnology at the University of Wroclaw. Later, Bartłomiej decided to move to Dublin to continue his education and as a result, he graduated as MEngSc of Biopharmaceutical Engineering from University College Dublin. Currently, he is pursuing a career in the biopharmaceutical industry.
As for libertarianism , he got interested in libertarian ideas when his brother recommended to him his favorite book “The Fountainhead”. While reading this book he got inspired and constantly was feeling that the idea of personal freedom and individualism was always “the right way” – ,,even though my environment used to dim these thoughts”. However, as soon as he read more books related to libertarianism and dived deeper into this philosophy and as he said, he has realized that it’s the right thing to pursue and spread around.
Bartłomiej became familiar with Liberty International on Liberty Camp in Italy in 2019. It was the first time in his life when he met so many interesting people at one place. As he said: I was looking for similar experiences, but then the pandemic started. Thus, I’m very happy that I’ll be able to spend the whole three months in this environment.
