My name is Nika Makhadze
This is a story about ordinary young ‘’fella’’ with extraordinary desires and intentions.
First of all, let me tell you that I had never-ending reasons to consider myself unique: beginning with being born inside out, spoiled by constant attention from family and friends, to being extremely popular amongst the girls around me. What else does young boy need to feel special?!
Second part of the story starts when the words of Silvester Stallone from Rocky Balboa movie “ Life is ain’t no sunshine and rainbows..., it ain’t about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward “, in other words that was time when “unique” little boy faced first difficulties and complications of adult life. I can’t even remember what a reason behind it was, but I believe that it is natural process of human development.
The third part of the story is about me today and what these stories made me to realize. I do not think that I am special anymore because I exist, I believe that only my actions, knowledge and aaccomplishments can bring me to the “throne” of special men club. Besides, I have two mottos in life “ while you are young use your best efforts to learn more, discover new things and work hard” and second one is “stay forever young”. It really doesn’t matter under what kind of circumstances I am, my primary goal is to always move forward notwithstanding fears and doubts I have, being it sparring with your coach and getting hit in a face or attending interactive accounting training even though you have no idea what is accounting or doing one minute pitching exercise, first time in your life, in front of a lot of people. As Ayn Rand said: “Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps, down new roads, armed with nothing but their own vision.”
The end of the story is about Project Arizona and myself, I want to find out more about liberty and libertarian philosophy and I believe that this opportunity spending three month in USA with like-minded people can be a big trampoline towards the libertarian World and I can contribute to Project Arizona with my modest life experience, knowledge and skills, all for common goals. Whatever happens next, thank you guys for reading, I love you all.
